The last few days I've been going to nickjr.com to print off pages for the girls to color in an attempt to keep them busy while I try to pack & clean. I decided yesterday that I had printed off enough and that I wanted to see more of Missy's creativity. So, when she asked if I would print more for her and I told her no, she drew these with a black crayon. I watched her then go to the printer and pretend like they came out of the printer. Then she was off to go color it in.

I don't know where she got the idea for the background or why she decided to only do partial faces on them. I've heard of autistic children with photographic memories & I wonder if she may have that gift to some extent.

While I was scanning these and writing this post, she managed to get her knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, and helmet on. And here she is with her roller skates... I'm really thrilled about the larger backyard we'll soon have. :)

Missy...

Missy loves to draw and color. As we're packing to move, I have such a difficult time throwing away the things that show how creative she is. Yet, I don't have enough wall space for it all. So Brad came up with the idea to create a blog for all of her works of art. Now, we can share her love of all things artistic with our family and friends. We hope you all enjoy them as much as we do. :)
